Families
"A good laugh is sunshine in a house."
~ William Thackeray
Somewhere along the way, the process of family-making became very serious. Parents carry the seriousness of work home and children drag the seriousness of school through the back door. Because of our need to control our problems, out-of-control laughter becomes unacceptable. By debunking the belief systems that prevent laughter and by understanding the profound physiological benefits of laughter, we can move toward a closer, lighter and more enjoyable family experience.
Families that laugh together have fun together. Laughter re-learning is a must for families to be able to connect with one another in a healthy, non-hurtful way. Special emphasis is put to the dark side of the dangerous family practice of tickling and teasing.
If you answered "yes" to any of these following questions, Family Laughter Coaching will be of help to your family:
When your kids laugh do you stop them instead of joining in the laughter?
Has the seriousness of your work and the seriousness of being responsible for your family sucked the silliness out of raising children?
Do you have a melded or extended family that gets serious due to it's complicated relationships & logistics?
"One out of four people in this country are mentally imbalanced. Think of your three closest friends. If they seem okay, then you're the one."
~ Ann Landers
How do we do it?
- Because families have no generic composition, we will have to design a program tailor-made to your family.
- It will eventually be done by speaker phone in small groupings (kids, parents) & then all together!
